CleanCV is a set of free tools for building a resume, writing a cover letter, checking your resume against applicant tracking systems, tailoring to a job, estimating pay, comparing offers, and preparing for interviews. We built it because most "free" resume sites make you create an account, then hit you with a watermark or a subscription the moment you try to download your own resume — and many upload your document to their servers to do it.
Every tool here runs entirely inside your web browser. Your resume, your salary numbers, and everything else you type are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The resume builder and cover-letter generator export real, selectable vector text with the open-source pdf-lib library — not a flattened screenshot — so applicant tracking systems can actually read the result. That "ATS-clean" output is the entire point.
